Love Swim 2026 features a concert by the upcoming and handsome young Dutch pop artist Ryann. Ryann is active as a model, actor, and singer-songwriter. His English-language songs honestly describe his personal experiences with dating, love, sexuality, relationships, and coming out. Ryann hopes a wide audience, no matter their own sexual preferences or gender, can relate to his texts. To Ryann, Love Swim is important as he feels that having queer spaces for sports is valuable to help people feel accepted and supported. ‘It is great to be in sports clubs and events specifically targeting the lgbtqi+ community, because you can know with certainty that you will be fully accepted for who you are. You can share things freely, and it is nice to be around like-minded people.’ He emphasises: ‘At Love Swim, everyone should feel welcome. This is about inclusion. This is about creating a safe space for all genders and sexualities, and anyone can join, including those who do not identify as queer. It’s all about unity indeed: we will be getting together, accepting each other’s differences, and just enjoying the events, the vibe, and the community.’
When asked what message he would like to send to young persons who may be new to the lgbtqi+ community, Love Swim and other World Pride events, Ryann says: ‘I would like to encourage people to discover who they really are and what they really love to do. Sometimes we tend to try and be and do whatever we believe others need us to be and do. But so many beautiful things happen when you allow yourself to explore who you are, and what you truly enjoy doing.’
