Love. Blood. Swim. The Heart & Dagger of LoveSwim 2025
The theme for this year’s Pride is Love. Our designer Evelyne Dielen—who’s been shaping the visual soul of LoveSwim for years, from the website to the medals, swim caps and T-shirts—took love as the foundation for this year’s illustrations.
Love is brave.
Love can hurt.
Love is a choice—even when the storm hits.
Queer love isn’t just sweet; it’s strong. Fierce. Layered.
That’s what we celebrate at LoveSwim 2025.
Because tattooing is one of the oldest art forms to express love, Evelyne chose this style as a bold, timeless symbol. A heart pierced by a dagger. The dagger stands for triumph:
Triumph over yourself—maybe you’re scared of that dark water, but you dive in anyway.
Maybe you’re afraid to tell her you love her, but you say it anyway. It’s the victory of being yourself, even when it stings, even when you think no one’s got your back.
And the heart? Our hearts beat, throb, tick. They keep us alive—and when they stop, so do we.
The design is raw and romantic at once. A little punk, a little classic. Maybe just like you.
And the best part? When you join LoveSwim, you get the shirt. Just like that. Yours. Because you belong here.
So—want the shirt? Sign up. Put it on. Show what you stand for.
Note: the black tank top is for volunteers only. And yes—we still need a few.
We don’t even swim straight — and we wear it with pride.
