During LoveSwim 2025, participants were able to swim for a good cause. As the organizers of LoveSwim, we are incredibly proud that our swimmers raised €12,500 for the Aidsfonds.
Globally, the fight against AIDS is under immense pressure. Since the withdrawal of U.S. support, AIDS clinics have closed, medications have run out, and people who could have been treated are dying. LoveSwim did not want to stand by and watch. The money raised directly contributes to lifesaving care, medication, and prevention.
The cheque was presented on behalf of the LoveSwim participants by Anne-Fleur Schipper, a well-known journalist and TV producer. Alongside her work for various television programs, she co-hosts the successful podcast “De Lesbische Liga” with Vera Siemons, which focuses on queer culture.
