INFORMATIE VOOR ZWEMMERS::

 Zwemregels:

De afgelopen jaren is het bootverkeer op de Amstel flink toegenomen. Samen met de reddingsbrigade houden we jullie vanaf de kant en vanuit het water goed in de gaten. Maar: let ook goed op jezelf en op elkaar! Om LoveSwim veilig en ontspannen te houden voor iedereen, hebben we de belangrijkste regels en tips hieronder op een rijtje gezet:

• Draag de LoveSwim-badmuts. Deze is verplicht en ontvang je bij de inschrijfbalie. Zo ben je goed zichtbaar in het water.
• Geel gemarkeerde boeien geven de zwemroutes aan, tot aan roeicentrum De Hoop. Houd deze boeien altijd aan je rechterzijde – zowel op de heen- als op de terugweg.
• De LoveSwim-boot ligt bij de boei die hoort bij de afstand die op dat moment gezwommen wordt. Zwem daar omheen en keer terug naar het startpunt.
• Zwem dicht bij de boeien en vermijd de vaargeul zoveel mogelijk. Kijk regelmatig om je heen om je positie te controleren.
• In nood? Zwaai met je armen! Iemand van de reddingsbrigade komt dan direct naar je toe. Let op: zwaai dus niet zomaar naar vrienden aan de kant, om verwarring te voorkomen.
• Volg altijd de instructies van het LoveTeam en de reddingsbrigade op. Bij onweer of ander extreem weer kan het programma aangepast worden of geannuleerd worden. We informeren je dan zo snel mogelijk.
• LoveTeam-vrijwilligers herken je aan hun specifieke tanktops.
• Zwemmen met een boei is toegestaan.
• Onthoud: LoveSwim is geen wedstrijd. Zwem voor je plezier en in je eigen tempo!

 Praktische informatie:

• Kom minstens 30 minuten van tevoren naar de locatie, zodat je op tijd bent voor jouw zwemafstand.
• Er zijn kluisjes aanwezig. Hiervoor heb je een muntstuk van €0,50 nodig.
• Bij de bar kun je uitsluitend met pin betalen.
• Zowel bar als catering zijn toegankelijk voor deelnemers én toeschouwers.
• De catering opent om 16:30 uur en staat op de steiger. Betalen kan via een QR-code met je telefoon.
  Prijzen: Klein bordje eten: € n.t.b., Volledige maaltijd: € n.t.b., Desert: € n.t.b.

 Faciliteiten:

• We zijn te gast bij Roeicentrum Berlagebrug. Als deelnemer mag je gratis gebruikmaken van de kleedkamers en douches.
•  Laat deze netjes achter. Gebruik een vloertrekker als dat nodig is en verwijder je haren uit het doucheputje.
• Op locatie zijn twee kleedkamers met douches, ingedeeld in de categorieën ‘man’ en ‘vrouw’.
• We beseffen dat deze indeling niet voor iedereen werkt. Voel je je niet prettig in deze binaire indeling? Laat het weten aan een crewlid. We zorgen graag voor een passende en veilige oplossing.
• De vlonder van het roeicentrum is vernieuwd en steviger dan voorheen, maar:
  
•  Ga hier niet met z’n allen tegelijk op staan. Verspreid je over de locatie. Bij drukte geeft de organisatie aan wanneer je de vlonder moet verlaten.

Swimming rules:
In recent years, boat traffic on the Amstel has increased considerably. Together with lifeguards, we will keep a close eye on you from the shore and from the water. But: also pay close attention to yourself and each other! To keep LoveSwim safe and relaxed for everyone, we have listed the most important rules and tips below:

• Wear the LoveSwim swimming cap. This is mandatory and you will receive it at the
  registration desk. This way you are clearly visible in the water.
• Yellow marked buoys indicate the swimming routes, up to rowing centre De Hoop.
• Always keep these buoys on your right side – both on the way there and on the way back.
• The LoveSwim boat is at the buoy that corresponds to the distance that is currently being swum. Swim around it and return to the starting point.
• Swim close to the buoys and avoid the channel as much as possible. Look around you regularly to check your position.
• In need? Wave your arms! Someone from the lifeguards will come to you immediately.Please note: do not just wave to friends on the side, to avoid confusion.
• Always follow the instructions of the LoveTeam and the lifeguards. In the event of a thunderstorm or other extreme weather, the program may be adjusted or canceled. We will inform you as soon as possible.
• You can recognize LoveTeam volunteers by their specific tank tops.
• Swimming with a buoy is allowed.
• Remember: LoveSwim is not a competition. Swim for fun and at your own pace!

Practical information:

• Come to the location at least 30 minutes in advance, so that you are on time for your swimming distance.
• There are lockers available. You will need a €0.50 coin for this.
• At the bar, you can only pay by card.
• Both the bar and catering are accessible to participants and spectators.
• The catering opens at 16:30 and is on the jetty. Payment can be made via a QR code
  with your phone.
• Prices: Small plate of food: € n.t.b., Full meal: € n.t.b., Desert: € n.t.b.

Facilities:

We are guests at Roeicentrum Berlagebrug. As a participant, you can use the changing rooms and showers for free.

• Please leave them tidy. Use a squeegee if necessary and remove your hair from the
  shower drain.
• There are two changing rooms with showers on site, divided into the categories ‘men’
  and ‘women’. We realise that this division does not work for everyone. Do you not feel comfortable with this binary division? Let a crew member know. We will be happy to provide a suitable and safe solution.
• The deck of the rowing centre has been renewed and is sturdier than before, but:
• Do not all stand on the deck at the same time. Spread out over the location. If it is busy, the organisation will indicate when you have to leave the deck.
